McHENRY – Adams Auto Body and Service Center , 1811 W. Route 120, McHenry, is among the first to participate in a new facet of the McHenry Outdoor Theater’s Drive to Stay Alive campaign.

Owners of the drive-in theater, 1510 N Chapel Hill Road, McHenry, are striving to generate $130,000 to buy the digital projector and other booth upgrades needed to remain in business after distribution of movies on film ends later this year.

As part of that effort, officials at the drive-in are offering advertising space along the fence that surrounds the property.

“This just seemed like a great opportunity,” said Adams Auto Body President Jay Adams . “Everybody loves the Outdoor. We’d all hate to see it fall into the history books.”
